7Slag

The name 7Slag refers to how it is tradition to make seven different kinds of traditional cookies for christmas.

7Slag is a series made by first making a wax imprint of old, cast iron moulds for making traditional, norwegian cookies. The wax casting is then cast twice in plaster before it is cast in clay. The clay mould is cleaned up before being fired into ceramic.

The ceramic mould is used to make the final casting in glass. It can then be reused to make a series of glass imprints. There will still be uniqueness to every print. Each one is signed and numbered.
